[AUDITZ]

Introduction

AUDITZ is the centralized audit log and audit-trail layer within PLTFRMS.

It provides a single, secure system for collecting, storing, and verifying audit events across all services — ensuring integrity, traceability, and consistency without requiring each service to maintain its own audit trail.

What is AUDITZ?

AUDITZ enables you to:

  • Capture audit events from distributed services
  • Ingest events through topic-based streams
  • Store audit data in a centralized and consistent format
  • Ensure data integrity and tamper resistance
  • Provide queryable and verifiable audit history
  • Support internal, external, and customer-driven audits

All audit events flow into AUDITZ, where they are securely processed and stored as a trusted source of truth.

Why AUDITZ exists

In traditional architectures, each service is responsible for its own audit trail. This leads to:

  • Fragmented and inconsistent audit data
  • Difficulties in ensuring data integrity
  • High implementation overhead per service
  • Increased risk of missing or altered audit records

AUDITZ solves this by centralizing audit responsibility into a single platform, ensuring that audit data is handled consistently and securely across the entire system.

Built for security & integrity

AUDITZ is designed with a strong focus on auditability and data protection.

It includes internal mechanisms to ensure:

  • Audit events cannot be silently modified or removed
  • All events are traceable back to their origin
  • Data integrity is preserved across ingestion and storage
  • Audit logs remain verifiable over time

This makes AUDITZ suitable for environments where trust, compliance, and accountability are critical.

Audit types

AUDITZ supports multiple audit scopes:

  • Internal audits — system monitoring and operational insights
  • External audits — compliance and regulatory verification
  • Customer-requested audits — on-demand transparency for customers and partners

Event-driven architecture

AUDITZ is built around an event-driven model.

Audit events are:

  • Published by services via topics
  • Ingested in real-time by AUDITZ
  • Processed and stored centrally
  • Made available for querying and audit workflows

This ensures a scalable and decoupled architecture that integrates easily into existing systems.

Part of the PLTFRMS ecosystem

AUDITZ integrates seamlessly with other PLTFRMS products, such as:

  • IAM for identity and access context
  • Event systems for real-time processing
  • CMPNY for administrative and operational workflows
  • PYMNT for financial audit trails and transactions

This enables end-to-end traceability across both technical and business domains.

Where to start

To start using AUDITZ:

  • Define which services emit audit events
  • Connect event streams to AUDITZ topics
  • Configure ingestion and storage policies
  • Explore audit querying and verification tools

From there, AUDITZ becomes the central source of truth for all audit activity across your platform.
